VERBIER INSTITUTE – PIONEERING GLOBAL AND LOCAL SUSTAINABILITY
Globally, 2015 will usher a new era of sustainability. With the new United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a global deal on climate change in Paris next year, companies, investors and governments will need to prepare themselves to lead and drive the global economy in more sustainable ways.
Locally, cities and communities are integrating sustainability into their development strategy and setting new sustainable objectives in energy, transportation, buildings, water, waste and carbon emissions management.
Verbier Institute aims to work with the public and the private sector, promote sustainability through three main poles of activities:
Innovation forum – Verbier Institute will organise stakeholder events and seminars for the public and private sectors to catalyse projects and innovate sustainability within their organisations.
Performance centre – Verbier Institute will organise programmes for businesses and executives who want to take advantage of these unique conditions to improve their individual and teams’ performances.
Impact academy – Verbier Institute will conduct research and offer educational programmes for corporates, governments and individuals.
FRESH THINKING. HIGHER PERFORMANCE. BETTER IMPACT.
ABOUT: The Verbier Institute is a Swiss non-profit focused on improving sustainability innovation, performance and impact locally and globally. It will do this through an innovation forum, an impact academy and a performance center.
